The edu:bit is a great visual way to teach potential dividers using the micro:bit.
This is a 10 pack of kits designed for the education system, a lesson plan is in the works, and will be made available when ready.
Included in each kit are 1 main board, 1 resistor daughter board & 1 spring daughter board. There are no micro:bits or banana leads included with this pack.
The mainboard has a 3.3v, ground and input pin 1 broken out to banana jack sockets as well as a 2 pin battery socket the same as found on the micro:bit allowing you to use the same battery pack you have for the micro:bit to provide power to the board and micro:bit.
The middle section of the board features 2 angled and keyed connectors to make hooking up the experiment boards a simple and straightforward process.
The right angle connector for the micro:bit is robust and tight while still allowing access to the USB port for programming and the cut out on the board allows you to access the reset switch while in situ.
This area has a single LED which you can use as an output indicator as well as breaking out pin 2 and ground to banana jacks to use your own device.
Daughter boards :
This board has five 10k resistors in series and feature a large triangular pad to each side of each resistor. Using a banana jack from the pin 1 input socket of the main board you can measure each pad using the micro:bit.
This board has two 2 pin spring clips which you can use for your own components, Resistors, Photocells or Capacitors.
